Paula Whitehouse is Professor of Practice in Business Growth and Innovation at Aston University. As Director of the Aston Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, Paula leads the development of growth support for small businesses and entrepreneurs. Curriculum consultant and speaker for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses UK programme, Paula has supported hundreds of entrepreneurs through its intensive leadership and management education since 2011. She also works with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women programme in India supporting their curriculum development.

Paula is Curriculum Director for the UK Government’s Help to Grow: Management Course which has been delivered to thousands of business leaders throughout the UK by Small Business Charter accredited business schools since 2021. She also developed the online Help to Grow Management Essentials course.

Paula is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Business Schools, Chair of Birmingham Contemporary Music Group, Deputy Chair of Ex Cathedra, a Fellow of the RSA, and a member of the West Midlands Co-Investment Fund Advisory Committee.
