The programme is designed to create embedded and long-lasting partnerships between leaders, researchers, policy influencers and stakeholders to create meaningful change to explore, develop, and test solutions to complex challenges, driving them towards implementation and impact.
Programme Features
The Innovation Catalyst is designed to immerse participants in a dynamic and impactful journey of discovery, collaboration and innovation.
Central to the programme is the opportunity to tackle real-world challenges that matter. Participants will engage with live briefs and macro-level challenges set by local, regional or global partners addressing critical issues such as AI/IT supported social care, greener travel options and fostering creativity to unlock greater business productivity. These challenges offer a chance to apply research and expertise in ways that directly benefit communities driving economic and societal progress.
Collaboration is at the heart of this programme, facilitated through action learning sets. In these small, interdisciplinary groups, participants will co-create innovative solutions to complex problems. By drawing on diverse perspectives and collective expertise these teams will develop approaches that are not only groundbreaking but also practical and scalable.
The programme can be customised to different settings and needs. Participants can integrate their ongoing projects into the programme while contributing to collective challenges. This flexibility ensures that the learning experience is directly relevant to individual goals and maximises impact both within and beyond their organisations.
To support participants on their entrepreneurial journey, the programme offers expert-led sessions and features intensive in-person workshops. These sessions are guided by subject matter experts and enriched by insights from industry advisers and mentors. The combination of academic rigour and real-world expertise equips participants with the tools and confidence to lead transformational change in their field.

Any organisation can join this programme. We are looking for cohorts of 10 or more.
