Helen Hesketh-Roberts is a change and project management, enterprise, and innovation professional with a significant interest in intrapreneurship. Helen has 20 years of experience managing projects, partnerships (international, UK, and regional) and enterprises in higher education (University of Bradford, Keele University, & UCLan) and the private sector. She recently managed an award winning pan-European innovation project on behalf of UCLan (Centre for SME & Enterprise Development). She is also developing a new preventative medicine enterprise along with UCLan’s School of Medicine and its partners. In addition, Helen is co-creating UCLan’s ideation and continuous improvement programme focused on developing corporate entrepreneurs.
A strong believer in the power of education and innovation to drive social mobility and improve the lives of individuals, communities, and organisations. Helen is proud to work in and with organisations that share her passion for change and entrepreneurship. Her knowledge of neurodiverse conditions and experience managing and coaching neurodivergent individuals have led to Helen becoming Neurodiversity advocate in education and employment arenas, championing the impact of the community’s innovative, creative, and entrepreneurial talent on business.
Helen uses her expertise and experience to support projects in her local community, including a refugee start up business programme, consulting on funding bids, and kick-starting community regeneration activities. Helen enjoys working with her community, spending time with her young family, and doing anything creative.
