The first Global Interest Group was established in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University. It looks at how to support students to engage with businesses as part of their degree. The group seeks to generate best practices and understand how these could operate across different subject areas and disciplines.
The group meets bi-monthly between 12:00-13:30 (UK), with an upcoming event planned on 28th November.
We are delighted to welcome Caroline Gavin from 4PositiveGrowth as our guest speaker. Caroline has been a valued supporter of the Liverpool Business School’s Business Clinic for several years and is one of our highly regarded Business Mentors. She will share her experiences of mentoring students as they undertake their consultancy projects, offering insights into the role and the impact it has on student development.
In the second half of the session, we will explore how LJMU has expanded its Business Clinic model beyond the walls of the university, developing collaborations with both national and international partners to create a wider, more dynamic network of support.
