In the UK Andy has worked at senior policy level with UK and Welsh Governments, and is probably best known for leading the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education’s Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Group. QAA publish national guidance for the sector. Andy received a Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion at Buckingham Palace in 2015.
International work includes 8 years as an advisor to the United Nation’s Chief of Entrepreneurship and a leading role in developing the European Commission Joint Research Centre’s work on entrepreneurial competency development, published as ‘EntreComp’. He also contributed to the OECD’s work on educating entrepreneurial educators.
