Bruno Tindemans

Chief Foresight Officer, Department of Work Education, Economy, Innovation, Social Economy and Science Policy (Brussels, Belgium)

Bruno Tindemans is an alumnus of the first EULP programme.  Bruno is currently Chief Foresight Officer at the Department of Work, Education, Economy, Innovation, social economy and Science Policy (Brussels, Belgium).  He is founder of three ventures in education (Flanders Business School), AI & Data (talentguide.com), and strategy consulting (UnchartedCompany.eu).  

Bruno is the former CEO of Syntra in Belgium. Syntra is an agency providing entrepreneurial education for business owners, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SME).  At Syntra, over 4000 teachers are instructing more than 85.000 participants in entrepreneurship courses, organized on 25 campuses.

Bruno founded Belgium’s first fully accredited Executive MBA program with focus on entrepreneurship and created an alliance with the Kellogg School of Management (Evanston, USA). In 2011 alumni of Flanders Business School had created over 120 new ventures in the fields of nano-technology, bio-technology, electric vehicles, ICT, telecom, clean energy, advanced materials and other lower tech business model innovations such as in fashion renting, art franchising or new housing solutions for the aging population. Flanders Business School was acquired by the Catholic University of Louvain in October 2012 (KULeuven, Belgium).

Bruno is reader on strategy at Erasmus University (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) as well as on strategic foresight and entrepreneurship at Saïd Business School (University of Oxford, UK – until 2022). He holds a Doctorate (DBA) from Cranfield University, School of Management (Cranfield, UK) and is also Certified Director from the Institute of Directors (Guberna).

Bruno has a track record of innovating in private industry, academia, and government as consultant, start-up entrepreneur, academic, executive, and board member.
