We’re delighted to have been named University of the Year for Social Inclusion by The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2024, in recognition of our commitment to empowering students from all backgrounds.

We’re proud to have been awarded the Social Enterprise Gold Mark in recognition of our outstanding work as a social enterprise, making Bath Spa the first University in the south west to achieve this standard, and fifth in the whole of the UK. As a social enterprise, we put people, communities and the environment at the heart of our work.

Our purpose is to challenge our students and staff to realise their talent and thrive, for their own benefit and for the wider good. By doing this we will think and make the world better. This starts with our students and staff but extends to our local, regional and global community through our teaching and learning, research and partnerships.
