Transforming the student experience
Student Life leaders, at universities and student unions, are expected to drive change and improvements in the quality of services provided by universities, often with limited resources available to them. Whilst students’ expectations increase, budgets in many UK universities are being squeezed and adopting an entrepreneurial mindset to respond and adapt creatively to change is essential.
Our Entrepreneurial Student Life Leaders programme will help you to respond positively and innovatively to the challenges brought about by changes in student expectations and the external landscape. We will encourage you to think creatively and to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset in your day to day work in order to become more resourceful and successful. You will explore the concept of entrepreneurial leadership and how you can promote a culture to support entrepreneurial thinking and behaviours amongst your team. You will gain insights from senior leaders in entrepreneurial universities exploring how they have been able to innovate, particularly in relation to enhancing student life and student union services.
