Afsaneh Bagheri is a Senior Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at the Lincoln International Business School, University of Lincoln, UK. She has been engaged in teaching and research on entrepreneurial leadership for over 15 years. Her research also focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership, with a particular interest in how entrepreneurs develop capabilities to grow and scale ventures. Her work has been published in leading journals including Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Business Ethics, and the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour & Research among others. Her research project on “AI ethical governance for sustainable innovation for SMEs and startups has been funded by UKIR, AHSRC. She has mentored startups on scaling and growth across the Middle East and has served as a guest researcher at the Reh Centre for Entrepreneurship at Clarkson University, USA.
