
Louise Banahene is a senior leader at the University of Leeds.
She provides leadership of services and areas of work focused on enriching the learning experience with a strong focus on equity and inclusion. This includes leadership of the University’s Access & Student Success strategy and institutional KPIs across access, student outcomes and graduate employability.
In 2017 she was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours for services to higher education and holds Principal Fellowship with the HEA. Her external roles include trustee of the Tutor Trust, a charity supporting tutoring in schools, and board member for a UKRI/OfS advisory group focused on widening access to PGR study.
