University of Laghouat

Amar Telidji University of Laghouat (University of Laghouat) is a public, state-supported university located in the city of Laghouat in southern Algeria. Founded in 1986 as a higher education institution and integrated into the national university system in 1997, it is officially accredited by the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Today, the university serves tens of thousands of students across a wide range of disciplines, including technology, science, medicine, civil engineering and architecture, literature and languages, law and political science, social sciences, economics and management, Islamic sciences, and physical education and sports. It offers recognized bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs and welcomes both national and international students.

With multiple faculties, research laboratories and an e-learning platform, the University of Laghouat focuses on high-quality teaching, research and regional development. It plays an important role in training professionals and researchers who contribute to the social and economic progress of the Laghouat region and Algeria as a whole.
