Professor Sara Spear

Professor Sara Spear

Professor Sara Spear is currently Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law at St Mary’s University, where she oversees teaching, research, and enterprise in the Faculty, and also has a University-wide remit for partnership activity. Sara joined St Mary’s University in 2022 from Anglia Ruskin University, where she was Head of School of Management. She has previously been Associate Head of the Department for the Marketing, Events and Tourism group at the University of the West of England and a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the University of Portsmouth. Sara has extensive experience in teaching and leadership in higher education, and was recognised as a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2022. Sara has a PhD in Marketing from the University of Portsmouth, and continues to be an active researcher, with particular interest in marketing and management for social good.
