We are excited to announce that this year we will host Entrepreneurial Universities Week coinciding with Global Entrepreneurship Week, 13th-17th November 2023.  We will be running a free lunchtime webinar every day from 12pm – check out the programme below!

We will be running sessions throughout the week with more information on joining NCEE and our Global Alliance of Entrepreneurial Universities.  Throughout the week drop in to find out more about membership.  Sessions will be running daily and you can find out more about the benefits of free or premium membership.  To join a session register here.

13TH NOVEMBER BETWEEN 12-1PM (UK):

Enterprise in UK Universities - findings from our latest research, James Ransom, NCEE

Starting our week will be Professor of Entrepreneurship Gary Packham, alongside NCEE’s very own James Ransom with the findings from our Enterprise Survey. See how enterprise is changing in higher education and the current state of play.

Trying hard to keep up with UK policy in enterprise and entrepreneurship?  Greg Wade, from Universities UK will take us on a whistlestop tour of latest developments, and what to keep an eye out for over the next 12 months. 

15TH NOVEMBER BETWEEN 12-1PM (UK):​

What have libraries got to do with entrepreneurship? Business Centres and Intellectual Property - Liz Jolly, British Library

Hear how the British Library and their Business and IP Centres across the UK can be engines for economic recovery and growth, with their network over the last three years helping to create over 18,000 new businesses.  Hear from Liz Jolly, Chief Librarian and see how universities can partner.

16TH NOVEMBER BETWEEN 12-1PM (UK):

Entrepreneurial Universities Showcase - THE Award shortlist and 2022 winner (LSE)

Our UK’s Entrepreneurial University of the Year shortlist showcase just got bigger, and will be two hours long.  Joining LSE, Royal Northern College of Music, Brunel, Swansea, Edinburgh and Kingston will be London South Bank University.  Hear from shortlisted universities on what makes them entrepreneurial.  There is also another chance to hear the current holder London School of Economics talk about how they have embedded entrepreneurship into arts and humanities.

17TH NOVEMBER BETWEEN 12-1PM (UK):

Amplifying Entrepreneurialism: Tools for Mapping, Measuring, and Nurturing Organisational Innovation - Dr François Nel and Dr Marios Raspopoulos

Measuring your organisations innovation and aptitude for entrepreneurialism is always a tricky business.  Francois Nel will talk through the Amplify Tool, with Marios Raspopoulos explaining what it meant in practice to his university in Cyprus.
