Pauline began her career in the arts, working with theatre and dance companies across the UK, as well as organising large scale events. She joined Queen Margaret University to teach arts and production management, before becoming Head of Production & Cultural Management and leading on learning and teaching activities in the School of Drama.

Pauline moved to Edinburgh Napier University leading the School of Arts and Creative Industries for nine years as Head of School and then Dean. Pauline recently stepped down from her role as Dean to concentrate on strategic projects. Alongside her strategic leadership experience, Pauline is also a Coach and a qualified Team Coach having studied the Team Academy (Tiimiakatemia®) model with Akatemia
