Module 1 of Entrepreneurial Leaders got off to an excellent start in Oxford.
The focus of this initial module was the development of entrepreneurial leadership skills to cope effectively with the challenging and turbulent UK HE landscape. It also looked at how to implement and manage change effectively.
Participants from a number of UK universities got the chance to listen and interact with a range of excellent speakers including Professor Richard Bolden, Professor Karen Stanton, Professor Trevor McMillan, Nick Hillman, Dr Paul Greatrix, Bruno Tindemans, Ian Dunn, Professor Helen Laville, Ana Bakshi and Professor David Amigoni and Professor Jonathan who are both alumni from the 2018 Entrepreneurial Leaders Programme.
Despite challenging times participants were upbeat and motivated about tackling change, after gaining a wealth of knowledge from both the speakers, tutors and each other. Comments from participants included ‘Thoroughly enjoyed the first module’ ‘An excellent course thank you’ and ‘Looking forward to the next module’
We are looking forward to module 2 in Manchester in April and being hosted by the University of Salford and University of Manchester.
