NCEE is seeking a Project Manager for the STEM UEN project in its final year. The STEM UEN is a collaboration between the NCEE, BAE Systems, Microsoft, HEEG, and 5 universities in the South East of England: Brunel, Kingston, Portsmouth, Royal Holloway, and Surrey. The objective is to increase industry / university collaboration, encourage new STEM-based businesses to start, and to encourage the development of enterprise in STEM faculties. We are looking for a project manager with experience of the University sector and ideally STEM and enterprise delivery. The role will be part time, up to 2 days per week, on a fixed term contract from Sept 12 to August 13.
The annual full-time salary range is in the region of £50K – £55K.
Outline Job Description:
Manage programme budget, allocate across activities, ensure budget meets contract outputs, monitor spend and monitor output achievement.
Plan programme activities with delivery partners, ensuring that a combination of individual and collaborative projects meet the aims and objectives of the UEN.
Collation and verification of beneficiary data from delivery partners.
Chair quarterly Operations Group meetings with all delivery partners.
Report progress to Strategic Management Board meetings.
Liase with funding agency on behalf of the project and partners to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
