NCEE and EEUK Launch the National Enterprise Educator Awards 2012

The National Enterprise Educator Awards (NEEA) is now open for entries for 2012.

The Awards run by NCEE and EEUK, is now in its 4th year of celebrating the achievements of those who show exceptional and inspirational commitment to supporting student and graduate entrepreneurship.

Individuals and groups from further and higher education institutions in the UK are recognised for their excellence spanning four categories, Enterprise Educators; Enterprise ‘Champions’; Student Educators, and also a new award, Enterprise Society Champions. The new award gives student-led enterprise societies the opportunity to nominate staff in their institution which they believe have helped grow their society and strengthen their relationship with their institutions and further afield.

  • Enterprise Educators (sponsored by Higher Education Academy) – who are transforming the enterprise curriculum
  • Enterprise ‘Champions’ (sponsored by SimVenture) – who are supporting extra-curricular activities
  • Student Educators (sponsored by Peter Jones Enterprise Academy and Pearsons) – who are supporting peer learning and development
  • Enterprise Society Champions (sponsored by NACUE) – who are champions or educators supporting, growing and engaging their student enterprise societies

The winner of each award category will receive £1000 funding towards supporting future enterprise projects at their institutions.

Applications close on 6th June 2012.

The shortlist will be announced in the summer.

The Awards Ceremony will take place as a part of the IEEC2012 Gala Dinner on the evening of Thursday 13th September 2012, overlooking spectacular views of the sea at Plymouth Hoe.
