Glyndŵr University’s Virtual Enterprise Conference: 24th – 25th Feb 2011

Back for 2011, Glyndŵr University’s Virtual Enterprise Conference will host speakers with inspirational web business success stories – and explore some of the ways you as students and lecturers can develop your careers and ideas online.

The pan-Wales event, held from Thursday 24 – Friday 25 Feb 2011, will focus on the opportunities available for entrepreneurship and personal development through web 2.0.

Day one will be held at Glyndwr Universities Catrin Finch Centre on the 24th of Feb from 9:30am – 5:30pm and will include a wide range of speakers and the opportunity for students to showcase their own projects and ideas; this years Keynote speaker will be Alex Tew, founder of the Million Dollar homepage and one of the most talked about figures on the web.

Day two will be held in second life at ‘Enterprise Central’ (Feb 25th 11am – 1pm) and feature talks from virtual world experts, examining their use for students, educators and business people.
