NCEE Brings the European Entrepreneurship Educators Programme (3EP) to the UK

3EP – UK Academy
11-16th March 2012
The Women’s Organisation, Liverpool

The European Entrepreneurship Programme (3EP)’s UK Academy has been announced by the NCEE. The 6 day event will be hosted in Liverpool in March 2012 linking up with the Kauffman Foundation and Liverpool Vision’s Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC). It is being run by the project’s lead partner, NCEE after the success of the previous European Annual Summer Academies held in Finland (2010) and Denmark (2011).

3EP is an 18 month project supported by The European Commission and funded by the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, which aims to support and develop enterprise education.  The programme achieves this through building confidence and practice in educators through 6 thematic areas over 6 days through 50 pedagogies.

The Academy is limited to 40 delegates who will join an exclusive network of 3EP alumni which currently spans 56 institutions and 22 European nations.

In addition to the 3EP experience, the Academy will be a part of the world’s first global Festival of Entrepreneurship, linking up with The Global Entrepreneurship Congress (GEC). Delegates will be invited to participate in a world class programme of inspirational key note speakers and forum of successful entrepreneurs, government ministers, academics and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

3EP Director, Professor Alison Price commented, “3EP offers an outstanding opportunity to deepen your enterprise education practice as well as build a terrific network.  The UK Academy provides a unique opportunity to connect with the range of activities forming the Global Entrepreneurship Congress, and exploring how to build the learning from these sections into your teaching.”

The Academy will be hosted at The Women’s Organisation in Liverpool from 11-16th March 2012.
